Todd Dagres

Todd Dagres is a founder and General Partner of Spark Capital. He has led Spark's investments in Veoh Networks, Menara Networks, Verivue and Intune Networks. Prior to Spark, he was a General Partner and Executive Committee Member at Battery Ventures, where his investments generated profits of over $1.1 billion.

At Battery Ventures, Mr. Dagres led the Communications Investment practice while focusing on the Media, Entertainment and Communications Industries. His investments included: Akamai Technologies (NASDAQ:AKAM), Qtera (acquired by Nortel Networks), XCOM (acquired by Level 3 Communications), Redstone (acquired by Siemens), River Delta Networks (acquired by Motorola), Broadbus Technologies (acquired by Motorola), Arbor Networks and Cedar Point Communications, amongst others. He was named to the Forbes Midas List, which ranks top venture capitalists who have created the most wealth for their investors, three times.

Prior to Battery Ventures, Mr. Dagres was Principal and Senior Technology Analyst at Montgomery Securities, Senior Technology Analyst and Vice President at Smith Barney/Robinson Humphrey, Vice President of Communications at the Yankee Group and Business Development Manager for Networks and Communications at Digital Equipment Corporation. He holds an MBA from Boston University and a BS in Psychology from Trinity College, Hartford CT.

Paul J. Ferri

Paul Ferri, a venture capitalist for more than 30 years, was the founding partner of Matrix Partners in 1982. Prior to Matrix, he founded Hellman Ferri Investment Associates (1977 to 1982) and was a general partner of WestVen Management (1970 to 1978).

The family of Matrix Partnerships has achieved industry record-setting returns over the last decade. In 2003, Ferri was inducted into the Private Equity Hall of Fame, citing his work "in founding and helping to build Matrix Partners into one of the most successful venture firms in the industry." In February 2001, Forbes magazine selected Ferri as one of the Top 20 Venture Investors of all time and the "Best VC in Boston." Also, in 2001, Ferri received the Massachusetts Telecommunications Council Award for "Venture Capitalist of the Year".

Paul serves or previously served on the Boards of Directors of Airvana, Applix, ArrowPoint Communications, Ascend Communications, Atria Software, Aylus Networks, Banctec, Bytex, Cascade Communications, Codex Corporation, Empirix, Paradyne, Redstone Communications, Sonus Networks, Stratus Computer, Sycamore Networks, Veveo, VideoServer, Winphoria Networks, Xyplex and numerous other private companies. He holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Columbia University, a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Polytechnic Institute of New York, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering degree from Cornell University.

Anthony Maher

Mr. Anthony Maher had a long professional career at Siemens, having joined the company in 1978. Since then, he held various positions in software development and integration, system engineering, architecture and processor design both in Germany and the U.S. From October 1997 until February 2002, Mr. Maher served as a member of the Managing Board for Siemens Information and Communication Networks Group. In this role, he was first responsible for several ICN business units and all its European business, then later also the U.S. operations. He was the founding chairman of Mustang Ventures, a venture capital unit at Siemens for wireless and wireline businesses. He also served as Chairman of the board of Unisphere Networks, Inc. (a Siemens-owned company), which was later acquired by Juniper Networks.

Mr. Maher currently serves on the boards of publicly traded ADVA Optical AG, Wavecom S.A. and Alvarion, Ltd., as well as privately held Xtellus and Broadlight Inc. He began his professional career with Bell Telephone Laboratories in Naperville, Illinois, contributing to hardware and software design as well as system engineering on the 4ESS. He graduated cum laude with a Masters degree in Electrical Engineering and Physics from the University of Illinois in 1969.
