Quality Assurance Engineer
Verivue is seeking a dynamic Quality Assurance Engineer who is well versed in networking and has a solid understanding of testing methodologies to join its technical team. As a member of a dynamic team the Quality Assurance Engineer will be responsible for testing the OneVantage content delivery solution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews business needs, requirements, technical specifications
- Key participant in technical design reviews
- Develops, publishes, and implements test plans & test cases
- Writes and maintains test automation
- Performs various tests to verify and validate new and existing features
Professional Qualification Requirements
- 3+ Years of QA Experience
- 1+ Years working with LINUX and open source platforms
- 1+ Years in Test Automation preferably with open source tools
- 1+ Years experience with Programming Languages and Concepts
- AS or BS in computer science or equivalent technical field
Personal Qualification Requirements
- Must have a working knowledge of quality assurance methodologies
- Prior knowledge of the Agile Software Development methods a plus
- Must have strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Must be able to make independent decisions and be effective with minimal supervision
- Must possess a sharp learning curve, and pick up on concepts and technology quickly
- Must be able to work and communicate effectively in a small team
