Our Management and Analytics tools provide customers with visibility into CDN resource utilization, operational performance, and overall network traffic patterns. The product suite includes an Element Manager along with a sophisticated Monitoring & Reporting Service. Its key features and benefits include:

Multi-Tenant Architecture

The Verivue OneVantage Management and Analytics product suite supports a hierarchy of independent roles. These include CDN Operators that manage the elements deployed throughout the network, Service Providers that manage business customers, and Content Providers that publish content via the CDN. Each user must securely authenticate himself, at which point they are restricted to the appropriate subset of the CMI's full capabilities.

Comprehensive Element Management

All aspects of CDN behavior are managed through the centralized element management console, including resource provisioning, traffic engineering, feature deployment, performance tuning, and element monitoring. In other words, the CDN is managed as a coherent whole rather than as a disjoint set of separately managed elements. This console is available as a graphical user interface (GUI), as well as a programmatic interface (API) that operators can integrate into their existing network management environment.

Real-time Traffic Statistics

A wide-range of content delivery statistics is available in real-time. These include distributions of user-realized streaming rates, as well as per-URL, per-user, and per-referrer request and data delivery rates. Statistics are available in both a tabular and graphical format, as well as through a query interface that allows operators and content providers to answer specific questions in a timely manner.

In-Depth Analytics

Overall trends in user access patterns are revealed through a rich set of web analytics. Data can be aggregated across time (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly) and across space (per-address, per-network, per-autonomous system) to reveal content access trends at different granularities. Raw content delivery data is also exported for easy incorporation into third-party analytic tools.
